Back in the day, brand names didn´t really matter because it just wasn´t an important issue on people´s minds. But nowadays, there’s a growing trend in designer baby clothing for various reasons. For one, the so-called ‘celebrity babies’ has really created an impact on parents when it comes to their taste in choosing clothes for their own bundle of joy. Parents seem to see these celebrity babies and notice how comfortable they look. They tend to want to make their baby not only as fashionable but as comfortable as possible too. As a result, more and more parents are now opting for designer baby clothes over the usual traditional everyday ones.

swaddle blankets

When I gave birth to my first baby a year ago, like any new mom I was excited and terrified at the same time. I was excited to hold him and terrified that I might drop him. I had to learn how to change a diaper and swaddle him again. I could not figure out how the hospital nurses swaddled him. It took me forever to learn how to swaddle him but I could never get it right. One day someone sent us swaddle blankets, the ones they were sort of pre-folded, so all I needed to do was to put one end of a Velcro to another and my baby was all swaddled in seconds.

Swaddle blankets are comfortable and easier to assemble. Some blankets are designed in such a way that all you have to do is to insert your baby inside. These swaddle blankets when opened are shaped sort of like an ice cream cone. You simply insert the baby and fold the flaps. Some swaddle blankets are already shaped like a diamond with Velcros and hooks that tell you which end goes with what.

unique toddler clothing

Most baby clothes that they wear everyday are really generic. Take the simple tees that are differentiated only by the colors. Pajama-type pants that are comfortable and protect the legs as he scrambles across the floor while playing with his toys. Parents prefer them because they are easy to put on and take off. They also wash beautifully and baby feels really comfortable in it.

However, a toddler’s wardrobe should also include unique toddler clothing. Unique toddler clothing might be different because of their material and construction such as these unisex baby jeans that look like denim but is actually of knitted material. They are as comfy as PJs but look faded and jean-like. Other garments are unique because of the designs that they carry. They can be artsy or pop. Make your baby look like a rock star with a Rolling Stone Logo on his toddler shirt.

kids tennis shoes

If you’re the type of parent who would rather see your child playing outdoors than vegetating in front of the TV, then you’ll probably consider getting him or her into sports. There are plenty of sports to choose from like soccer, baseball, basketball, golf, and tennis. When choosing a sport, it is best to let your child decide what he or she wants, if he or she can’t decide you might want to start with a sport that does not involve a team. Tennis is one recreational sport which you can play with your child. All you need to do is get your child some kids tennis shoes, a kids tennis racket and look for a vacant tennis court.

When buying tennis shoes for your child, be sure that you are buying real tennis shoes. Most parents make the mistake of buying cross trainers to save on cost. They think that by buying cross trainers the kids can use them for tennis as well as other sports. But tennis shoes are made differently; they are generally not as high or as cushioned as running shoes and cross trainers. Tennis shoes need to be a little more flat and stable because when playing tennis you need to run sideways as well. In tennis, there are times when you stand still and then there are sudden bursts of energy when you need to sprint, for those tennis shoes are best.

toddler clothes

When buying clothes for kids, people often buy a size or two bigger so that they kids can grow into them. They buy a bigger size hoping that the clothes will be worn longer. The major department stores devote a huge section to infant clothes and children clothes. In between infant clothes and children clothes are toddler clothes. These are the ages between 12 to 24 months when they’ve outgrown infant clothes but are too small yet for kids’ clothes.

Toddler clothes are the next most adorable clothes after infant clothes. Toddlers’ clothes are often miniature versions of children’s clothes. Shirts for toddlers are generally made of lighter material and more loose or wide around the neck so that it is easier to slip their heads in. There are also toddler shorts, jeans and jackets. Some toddler clothes even include oversized rompers, pajamas and onesies.
