Little boys need formal wear too. They will need it for their christening, to attend a formal family affair or to wear to have a formal photograph taken. They can wear a baby boy suit or a toddler tuxedo. Today, it is becoming more and more popular for baby boys to wear suits on their christening rather than a baptismal gown that used to be the accepted outfit.
A baby suit is a miniature version of the adult suit. When used in christenings, they come with a matching hat that is part of the outfit. A very nice suit will consist of a 5-piece set that includes a dress shirt, pants and jacket. It will also come with a coordinating vest and tie. Formal attire will, of course, include a pair of formal baby shoes.
